I think that overall, men think that chick flicks aren't that good. If there are some funny scenes or something, then they think they are okay. Some guys, however, are fine with it and kind of like it.
It also depends on age. My younger brother hates chick flicks and think they're "retarded". My dad likes chick flicks almost as much as my mom. I love chick flicks, but, then again, I'm a chick.

I suppose there are some men to like them. Some men are more "macho" than others, some are more "sensitive" than others. I can't picture a macho type man liking anything feminine, secretly or openly. My husband pretty much likes anything i like. I however don't like many chick flicks so hubby doesn't get to watch too many of them, LOL!

Do you the movies they like?
Pirate movies and action hero fantasy **** that has no story line, so long as there are a lot of girls running around in skin tight pants with big boobs falling out of there bras.
How on earth could any man concentrate on a chick flick? They don't have the attention span.

Only the well-written ones. I don't like the chicks flicks that are chick flicks simply to be chick flicks.

I'm a guy and I got thru Forever Young, but here is my list I wont watch: Beaches, Fried Green Tomatoes, anything with Cher and I was going to say Barbara Streisand but actually she was a hoot in Meet the Fokkers. I guess the answer is some are tolerable oh yeah Rosie O'Donnell- no way. Oh and I avoid the Lifetime and Oprah

Yeah. Sometimes films with stories, and without a $40M SFX budget, get the label "chick flick." I have liked quite a few.

No. Under no circumstances. Although i do concede that there probably exist may effeminate men who are probably more girly than the girls are. Next time you go to a 'chick flick' watch for them, they are easy to spot, with their wrists flapping around as they poof to their seat.
