Assertion? I don't know about that....

However, in history, she probably would have been executed for treason... aiding and abetting the enemy...
It's one thing to disagree... It's another to disgrace our nation to the world! If it's sooooo bad here, I'm sure there are many other countries to flee to... GOOD RIDDANCE!

I'm sure she (along with many overzealous celebrities...) is on Al Qaeda's "Favorite Allies in the US" list!

I guess I will go against the majority here. For starters, most of the country is against this war, so she is not saying anything that many others don't already feel.

She has also lost a son as a result of that war, so she has paid a price that very few of us on here have. I personally think that makes her especially entitled to voice her opinion.

And, hey -- another thing. This is America. Where she has the freedom to express displeasure with our government if she so chooses. Just as all of us do. What a concept!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's the "darling" of the liberal media. She collaborated with Hugo Chavez, Harry Bellafonte, and all the other left wing kooks. She would of been shot for treason in another time.

Man is this country screwed up.

II do think that she was used by liberals and the media to make a point. She is now a publicity whore and nobody takes her serious. Guilty of something? No. The very fact that she is able to present her stupid ideas and ideals is support for the troops and the war, not an indictment against it.

She is guilty of treason for spreading sedition with the intent of causing dissention among our troops and populace during a time of war. Also for collaboratting with the enemy!
