It is impossible for us to tell, a baby can drop long before the due date or never drop at all.

Expect a delivery on your due date. Have supplies in order in case it comes 4 weeks early.

Lightening, or dropping, is one of the last rites of passage before getting ready to give birth. However, it can be a week or a month before actual labor starts. Hopefully, this isn't a sign that your labor is about to begin and lucky for you, you'll get a longer time period where you are made more comfortable by the fact that the baby is no longer smooshing your stomach and organs. :-) You'll probably be able to eat a little bit larger meals and breathe more easily. Look for the loss of your mucus plug (literally a big plug of mucus - sometimes with blood, that comes out in your underwear, bath, or toilet - this is the first "opening" when your body is begining to prepare for birth). After that, your cervix will begin to soften. The big thing to look for is contractions that increase with time and lessen in duration between. When you reach less than 8 minutes between each contraction, load up and go! You'll be a new mom soon. Congratulations!

With my first child I lightened three days before i gave birth. With my second child I lighten when I was 7 months then gave birth at eight months. You never know when. But it is getting closer. Anyway what worked with me, Is when the doctor told me it was okay for me to deliver, I did this exercise. You march around the house slowly but get your knees up as much as you possibily can. But I wouldn't do it until the doctor says okay!

Every pregnancy is different. I went into labor for my daughter at 38 weeks and for this one at 34. I dropped a month or more for my daughter and a couple of weeks ago for this one. The only time to know that you are getting close is when you start contracting, lose your mucus plug, and or water breaks. Your water doesn't always break. Doc broke mine. Stick to your original due date your doctor gave you and I recommend checking out babycenter.com, babyconnection.com and americanbaby.com. I refer to these sites for answers and also the books What to expect when you are expecting and Your pregnancy week by week. I hope this helps. Hang in there and remember that a baby is considered full term at 38 weeks and always stick to your original due date. That is what the neonatal development specialist told me from Magee Women's Hospital of University of Pittsburgh told me when they met with me for being high risk.

I am not really sure what you are asking. Maybe you should have waited until after you got an education to start a family.
