I think Patrice Rushen was the original performer of the song "Forget Me Nots" and had a hit with it in 1982. In 1991 it was covered by Veronique. It was also covered in 1995 by Randy Crawford and in 1996 by La Bouche. Will Smith sampled this song for "Men In Black" and George Michael sampled it as well for "Fastlove".
