ok when i'm in class there is those halogen lights in the roof and when i get to school i suddenly feel very very sleepy. but this only happens at school. when i look into the lights i have the urge to yawn every single time i look up the at the lights i ywn and feel slightly more sleepy. at any time of day dosent matter i get the urge to yawn does any one know why this happens to me??? i honestly do not get it!

I think you don't like school and this is your reaction to it, not the lights.

If I were you, I'd mention this the next time you see your doctor. Some people have seizures that are triggered by certain types of lighting...and episodes of narcolepsy (seizures that cause you to fall asleep instantly) are STILL seizures. You may not have full blown narcolepsy, but it's very possible the lights really ARE affecting you, and it's not all in your head. The lights in certain stores affect me, for example. I am orthostatic intollerant, and pass out under certain conditions. Store lighting (not all, but some) will cause my brain to stop regulating my blood pressure, and I will pass out...and it's been happening since I was about 14, SO...it really could be something physical in your case.

i get like that too. i get a bit lightheaded and tired. not really tired but my eyes just get really heavy and i start seeing grey shaded spoted when i blink my eyes. even if i havent looked directly into the light. i dont know how to explain it. i hate those lights. argh. some peoples eyes are sensitive to things more than others.
