I even got an earlier start than usual...put up my tree on the day before Thanksgiving. It just went by so fast this year. I wish we could extend it even longer. The New Year is always just a bit sad because of taking down all the lights and decorations. Well, another 10 months and I'll be getting ready to start all over again.

It always seems to for me since we have 4 major holidays in a row; that's why I guess I get upset when I'm trying to celebrate Halloween and the stores are already pushing Christmas on me without a thought to Thanksgiving.

Yeah. I was a "holiday helper" where i worked. Now the holidays are over, and i'm unemployed. Seems like it went by pretty quick this year.

It always does seem that way. When our kids were still living at home I had a cure for that. I hid one present for each of them. Then Three weeks after New Years day I would have Christmas 2. They loved it.
