I'm doing a science fair project on Sol and I was wondering how I could figure the Sun's rotation.

Hi. The Sun rotates at a different speeds on the equator than at other latitudes, so you can only solve for a particular latitude. If you plan on using observation, build a simple camera out of a box with a small hole at on end and paper on the other. Trace the location over a few days of the spots and you'll find your answer.

I'm doing the same project. Go to http://sciencebuddies.com/mentoring/project_ideas/Astro_p005.shtml?from=TSW . This is what I used. Check out the websites it gives you. They also help you. Hope THIS HELPS!
