im rerecording the song 'a whole new world' from the disney movie Aladdin, does anyone have any suggestions on what kind of instruments i should use?

theres no way i can recreate an exact version of the original song because i dont have any violin players or flute players, and the piano player is 'ok', not great

but the girl i have singing the song is really good, and i want to try and make this a great cover song, does anyone have any suggestions on the different kind of instruments i should use or how to recreate this song w/out making it exactly like the original song?

any suggestions would be great, thanks

ok, i seriously like the techno song version idea. im going to do that for sure, first im just going to try and record the song as close as i can to the original song but w/ different instruments

if anyone else has other ideas for instruments or styles to record the song it let me know

and p.s., to the first guy who left a comment, im not going to sell the song or do anything like that, its for personal use only, just to get practice in recording. there is no possible way they can sue me, so if anyone else brings up this subject im just going to ignore you because its irrelevant

I think you should make a techno version, a song they can play in clubs

I agree with Rosemarie B!!! I mean, it's not exactly like Disney's song, and you can add a cool mix to it that everyone will really like. A techno "A whole new world" would attract attention because of the way todays music is.

Disney comes down hard on copyright infringement. If they ever find out they will sue you. They even sued a daycare for painting mickey on their walls. So don't do it!
