And it drives you nuts... especially when someone you know is cute and you want to jump them every time you see them.

I mean never trying the same sex as yourself, opposite sex as your spouse.

She's a woman. I'm in transition, and I'm so desperate I have to hold myself back from jumping certain guys I know.

And no.

She's firmly against me exploring. I guess I have 3 options: divorce, cheat, supress the insatiable desire.

I don't believe in cheating. But I think you need to honestly face the issue. If it just a deal you are "bi-curious" you will be forfeiting a marriage--and I am assuming it is good in other regards at this time--and it will perhaps be for naught.

If you become convinced that you are lesbian-oriented--and that essentially means you are attracted to girls AND repulsed (or non-plussed) by male sex--then for your sanity you need to take steps to get out of your current relationship.

However, if it just seems to you that you may be "bi" I do not think it is right to end the marriage unless there are some other reasons. Hetero folks in a marriage are obviously attracted to other people--but that is not a valid reason to end the relationship. The only reason I think you should jump out of this one is (1) if you are clearly lesbian-oriented as I indicated above or (2) there are other reasons the marrigage should be ended.

Cheating always ends badly---as does suppression of desires.

Maybe you should tell your husband/wife (sorry don't know which one you are referring to) and see if they'd open to an open marriage for a while, just so you can check it out and see for sure.

I had a sexual affair with a woman for 6 years...I've been gay for the last 30 years...I tried them both.
