It's a white sweater with some red wine staines.

Bleach if it is white.

Possibly oxy-clean

Or buy two bottles of wine;
Open one and pour it into a large bowl.
Open the other and pour one glass full.
Take a sip, and dunk stained garment in bowl,
Take a sip, and dunk stained garment in bowl

Repeat again and again until second bottle is empty.
Let garment soak over night.

Then wash in cold water. Thats it no more stain.

Turn the sweater inside out and spray the stains liberally with seltzer (club soda). Rinse in cold water and repeat until the stain is gone. DO NOT use warm or hot water, it will set the stain.

I know Hydrogen Peroxide takes out a lot of stains, including blood. Maybe it will take out red wine?
