well if u wanna get music or video then u need ur usb cable or u could get a card reader and just use ur memory stick to transfer files. as for free music and video, download limewire from www.limewire.com
limefire is like a search engine which u can use to search for music, videos, games, etc for free.
u can also download some psp games from limewire for free but beware of the spywares that u might get.
Or you could just go to the playstation website and download a demo of locoroco. trust me locoroco is awesome.
But you would always need ur memory card and usb cable to get music and videos on ur psp
