Long Island, NY-nonunion:
high end res: $1.25 - $1.50 per sf
commercial: $1.00 - $1.25 per sf
reg res: (ive heard is as low as $0.83 per sf)

It depends on the total square footage and the type of hanging needed. Also need to know how many inside and outside corners and the total number and size of cut outs.

in s.e. mich, you can expect to pay betwwen 32-48 dollars a 4x8 sheet(1.00 - 1.50 per sq. ft) to hang it and finish it. make sure when you get your bid to make sure if in finishing they mean just the bed/base coat, or, bed/base and finish coat w/ sandings.

it also depends on what size sheets you are hanging when it comes to finishing. a half inch sheet 4'x12' should be around $35 to hang and finish, material included.

Here in Texas we pay Hose A and Hose B two tacos per hour.
