exactly HOW do they promote...where do they get all those fliers? and stuff they hand out.

im a street team member for the band ellison. when there is a show in the area i post fliers all over the place with the time, venue, cost, and any supporting bands. also if you see on here if people ask for a any good bands im always saying ellison and giving the address i.e. http://www.ellisonsite.com .

usually, people sign up for street teams on the website of there fave bands or w/e they wann apromote, and then the bands send the fliers and stivkers in the mail. the go to the strrets and put the posters/fliers on walls, telephone poles ect. its fun :)

They make most of what they use to promote. Ways of promoting include: Voting for songs for radio play, grafitti, anything.

usually the group they're promoting for sends a flyer to their e-mail or mailbox...and they make copies. also some groups have contests for little challenges...like making a huge banner or something of that sort.
