I like Nivea Gentle Cleansing Creme for dry skin. It has gentle microbeads to exfoliate and moisturize. It's not too abrasive. I also use a Clinique product once to twice per week called Turnaround 15 minute facial. My skin is very soft after using it. You apply it to your skin and leave it for 15 minutes, then wash off with warm water and wash cloth. It gently exfoliates your skin. There are lots of products out there so you have to just try a few and decide what works best for you. Try asking for samples if you decide to visit the better make-up counters.

I agree that the Mary Kay Microdermabrasion Set is the best way to get soft healthly skin fast, but I wouldn't recommend it alone. I would also suggest to use the Mary Kay Timewise cleanser and moisturizer on a daily basis as well. The Microdermabrasion is only suggested to be used 3 times a week tops! Without a good skin care program your skin will not improve itself by using the Microdermabrasion alone. They also have what is called Even Essence Complexion which evens your skin tone and restore's its natural even tone. I know someone already told you to NEVER use proactive but i say that is the best thing you could possibly use. I have monthly breakout and when i use that like i should if my face is already broke out it will be gone in 1-3 days and if not it prevents it from breaking out. Plus is comes with great moisturizers that make your face soft but not oily.

Oatmeal is really good for all skin types. Rub gently when you put it on. As a toner afterwards, don't buy anything special. Just rinse your face with cold water. Closes the pores.

I like the St. Ives Swiss formula Apricot face wash BLEMISH AND BLACKHEAD CONTROL. That usually softens my skin, but it's really the moisturizer that does the trick.

St. Ives Apricot scrub is wonderful and very inexpensive. Just use it once or twice a week.
