Tigard is located at 45°25′40″N, 122°46′44″W and is what you consider a "bedroom community" adjacent to the Portland, Oregon metropolis it actually sits about 8 miles SSW of Portland, it is accessible by taking Barbur Boulevard out of Portland (only heads south) and it goes directly through Tigard. Interstate 5 heading south has an exit which essentially puts you were Barbur Boulevard intersects. King city, is actually a town which is to the west of Tigard and there is another town (Metzger) to the North of Tigard which is adjacent to one of the area's largest shopping malls Washington Square

You are about 30-45 minutes South of Portland and the Columbia River if you are in Tigard. You are well North of Salem. If you are flying to visit someone in Tigard, PDX would be the best airport to fly into.
Sorry about the neg - my answer is correct, but I have stalkers who go through my answers and neg them all. I know, childish antics. But, neglected children tend to be this petty.
