also when you take off the inserts, do they act as good regular sunglasses.. w/ good UV protection?

Good question yea they work very good on and off the field I play catcher and trust me you need some good glasses when the sun is in your eyes and you are the guy have a 9 ounce piece of wooden cork heading your way.
