A ladyfriend of mine has a 2002 the check engine light came on for 2 problems a vacuum leak, and it developed a vacuum leak and coolant leak from a ruptured intake gasket between the intake and firewall side head of the engine [both occured within about 2 months of each other].providing the engine is running quietly and smoothly ,check your coolant level, and have it code checked. I pretty much bet it's a vacuum leak from a dried out cracked hose or something very close. If you run a lot of different gas you may have a bad oxygen sensor (can be found with a code check) .

The check engine light generally means that one of the sensors is bad or getting an out of specification reading. This could be throttle position sensor, charge air temp sensor, Oxygen sensor, mass air flow sensor to name a few. Probably best to take it to the shop but first disconnect the battery for 5 minutes. The light should be out when you reconnect it. Drive awhile and see if it comes back on.

in accordance to what change into printed in the previous, I easily have considered a good number of outlets screw up jobs or do them incorrectly. i in my opinion might want to quite pay a fragment of the fee and connect the vehicle myself. As change into printed, if the verify engine basic is on, vehicle zone will hook it as a lot because the computing gadget for loose and allow you to already know precisely what's inaccurate. See what the code reader says first and then bypass from there. even as change into the merely good time the O2 sensors were replaced? A vaccum leak is likewise a chance. strong success
