I hear that you multiply it by something, but I'm not sure what.

A rough conversion is multiplying your time IN SECONDS by .9. So if you get a 1:01 you would multiply 61 by .9, not 101 by .9. The website is probably very accurate, .9 will give you a pretty good idea coming right out of the pool.
