Do those magnetic bracellets for wrist pain management really work?

They do not work, unless you believe in them, and only then it is the placebo effect which is totally psychosomatic. Your brain can actually make your body feel better if you tell yourself you feel better essentially. On Penn and Teller's Bullshi*, they took snails and had them crawl all across people's faces for headaches just to see if they would believe that it worked, and sure enough they did. You have to be a skeptic with most of this stuff....

They have done good double blinded studies. And they have shown that the magnetic bracellets do not work. Work like a placibo effect. If you think it work it seems to help. If you think its a doesn't it will not.

Yes, the magnets indeed do work, the magnets take the pain out. I have used them for hip pain, by carrying magnets in my pocket, and they worked very well, I did not have to take any medicine for pain. The magnet will not heal the condition you have, they relive the pain only. I have come across friends that have tried the magnets for pain, and said that it did not work for them, and they were content with their pain medicine. If there is an opportunity to try the bracelet that would be good to see if it works for you.
