Mabus is absolutely right. My husband and I (both very very liberal) just got back from a funeral today, for a friend who was deeply conservative. Most of the other people there were Republicans and we got involved in a political discussion about the next presidential campaign. The people with us said "there are an awful lot of us who aren't republican anymore thanks to W..."
