neither of the above would be the best light to use in a place where natural gass may be present.

chemiluminescent. The light is produced entirely by the mixing of chemicals. There's no danger of an electrical spark igniting the gas if the bulb broke or from wiring or switch-contacts..

Another alternative, not in the list, is light-pipes, sending light from light-sources outside the building or mine into the dangerous area down bundles of glass optical fibres.The light source could be sunlight or artificial light.

you have to get something that has the nema rating for explosive areas.
