the fourth movie comes out next year and takes place after the two and a half year gap. but the first movie won't come out here sometime until after naruto learns the rasengan since that is the main move he uses in the first and second movie.

There are 3 naruto that already aired in Japanese and 2 of it already released on DVD. And there will be movie 4. Naruto the Movie 4 is the fourth film based on the Naruto anime and manga series by Masashi Kishimoto. It was announced on November 22, 2006, in that week's issue of Shonen Jump. The film currently remains untitled.
So far, the only information known about the fourth Naruto movie is that it will take place during Naruto: Shippūden. The film will be airing in theaters in Japan sometime during 2007.
