My partner & I broke up over 10 months ago. we went to couples counseling for two months to work out issues & get back together. We do not go to counseling anymore, but see one another once in awhile. She wouldn't do her part in counseling. No effort. I do not know where we are at with this relationship or when is it we are suppose to get back together. She doesn't say anything. In the mean time I have met someone else on the & I can't give them an answer of a commiment because I am not sure where my partner & I are at in this relationship. What do you do? I am waiting for her to say when & have told her that I don't know where we are at with this & she doesn't answer me.

Sweetheart why are you waiting for her to make up her mind about what you do with your life? If you guys broke up that long ago and she is not making an effort I think you have your answer. Please do not give her that kind of power over you. If you have met someone new and you like this person go for it. It may or may not work, but at least you can move on. When looking back at this current issue with your ex at least you can say that you did everything that you could to make it work. That is what is important. But to give another person that kind of control and power over your life is not healthy and not right. Please Please Please move on sweety. I know it is hard when you care about someone, but you have to take YOUR power back, and please don't give it away again. It is yours. Just as it is your life and no one but you should be controlling it. Good luck sweety.

Move on.
If she doesn't fight for you, then she's not committed.

You could jeopardize the relationship with yor current love interest if you put her off and make her feel like a second choice.

Where are you.... nowhere, that's where. She has put no effort into a reconciliation and is making no effort to reconnect with you. Move on, move on, move on. Make every effort to keep your new relationship alive and well.

i think you should try the best you can to move on. your partner isnt in this relationship whole-heartedly like you seem to be. i think it would be best for both of you, you mainly, to just move on.
