why is there war?

WHY IS THERE WAR? killing eachother will end up resulting in retaliation ( more killing) and therefore, will war ever end?

Because the human race has yet to evolve.

So we talk ourselves into war and then we fight our way out of wars only to talk ourselves back into war. That is why there is war.

I cannot remember which great man from WW2 said this but it went something like this.

The United States of America does not have a standing army for anything other then bringing back the peace.

So you see, we talk and talk about our problems and how we don't like how them or they are doing things. They talk and talk and get pissed off. We talk and talk and then get pissed off. Then one of the two or multiple parties ends up declaring war. Then war has begun. Somebody comes out victorious. "Treaties" are signed and then we repeat the process.

Trust me. I'm all about diplomacy. But it does not make it the answer to our problems. (Nor is war) So what is the answer to our problems? Now that is a question I would love to see answered.

Ignorance, greed, jealousy, bigotry.

But the only reason why wars exist is because the mass majority of people are followers and not leaders. If people were leaders they wouldn't become slaves to leaders. If there were no armies there wouldn't be any wars.

As long as there are those who refuse to accept others who are different from them, there will always be war; as long as there are countries that exploit nations of lesser economic capacity to fatten themselves, there will be war; politics, instead of helping, usually only comes into play to aggravate the situation.

war will never end. yes it might stall for a while but it will never end. to many people in this world today are greedy. when people are greedy they want more and more and when they don't get it they take action. its like fights, you are fighting over who is better or whatever. you will fight to get what you want. that is how it usually works. its greed that rips us apart. that is why there is war and no it will never end.

In my opinion there is war because people cannot accept other peoples differences. I think most people are "hardwired" from birth to be intolerant.

Sometimes you need war to kill the idiots, and then better people can take the lead.

Unfortunetly one country seems to think it needs to rule the world. What they don't realize is that every single person on this earth is exactly like them. They eat, sleep, work, and have families. : (
