If u compare the nintendo wii to the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, then ur lucky that ur daughter wants the wii. The Playstation 3 is 600 dollars or 500 dollars (it depends on how many giggabytes u want). The 360 is 400 dollars or 300 dollars. But the Wii is 250. Nintendo put it this low so it could be affordable for the family. I reccomend going on Ebay and trying to find it atleast 50 dollars cheaper. But for now, Nintendo doesnt have any confirmations for a price drop. It costs 210 dollars to develop for the Wii so making forty dollars for every wii isnt that much for Nintendo. I dont reccomend waiting beacuse it will take (in my guess a year in a half) to expect a price drop from Nintendo. They may do that so they make it more affordable for the family.

Wii are pretty cheap to start with, considering the competitions, but if u want a cheaper wii den search on used wii on ebay or wait =D. 250$ is not that bad, but then again itll go up over 300$ including controller, games....etc

well, wait about a year or so, until the price drops. Or go to game stop (a video game store, cheap stuff) and try to get it used, if there are any. I recently purchased a psp and the price was low because it was used (even though it came out not too long ago) for $199 but you might have to wait a couple months if that is okay with your daughter.

the wii is worth it. u pay $250 for a controler, a nunchuck, a sports game, and the wii. it can play gamecube games, uses a digital camera memory card, u can do stuff online, it can be good exercise, and its fun. and if ur daughter doesn't want it anymore, u could sell it on ebay to make some money.

u could get one at toys r us. my friends aunt kept one for my brother there. (she's allowed to do it) its good to have inside connections if u want a really cheap 1 but i doubt it will help.

If you think $250 is too expensive, then, unfortunately, you won't find a cheap one. That's basically the price they go for. We have one, and let me tell you, it's worth every cent if you have members of your family who plan on using it semi often or very often. It's a great system! Just be careful with the wrist straps ;)

I have a Wii and it costed about $249.99 at wal-mart and for how new they are It will be hard to find a cheap one. And you would have to buy it online because there is no Cheap one in any Retail store. But I would say the cheapest one you could find is at Ebay.com

Look at the bright side...at least she doesnt want a PS3. The Wii isnt that expensive. Just $250. It's not that bad, and it's alot of fun and she can get excercise. I just wish my dad would help me buy one.

well actually, with all the extra features they have, i think they're underpriced already. (not cheap, just more then worth the money)
or you can buy a used one but i dont advise waiting on that... There are a lot of contests out there for nintendo wiis though

Well i think Target and Currcut City has some for $250.If that is to much then you might be able to find a cheaper one on ebay.

Could be today, could be tomorrow, could be whenever. You have to get a bit lucky, that's all. Stores get them in stock all the time, but they sell out quickly. You just have to be in the right place at the right time. Call stores, ask about stock, ask if they know when they'll be getting any shipments in. Be polite to them, maybe even joke about it a bit; they'll be more willing to answer your questions if you don't annoy them. Good luck!
