If a mother is pregnant and in her first or second trimester and decides to get an abortion can the father file for an injunction to prevent it?

Until the child is born, the man is just the purported father. He has no say in the life of the child since there is no child yet. AFTER the child is born, he can file so that he is legally determined to be the father. It's at that point that he has any rights to the child.

I do not believe so though I do think it only seems right for the father to have a say in the life of his child though I know I will be criticized for saying this. It take a male and a female to create a life It should not be up to only one individual to take that life.

I sure hope he can, and does. Maybe if the fathers of the unborn had more rights then women wouldn't be so quick to murder their unborn children.

I think it varies from state to state. Depending on her age and marital status, morally he should be allowed.
