"Mr. Monkey Man..."? Classically childish and liberal, always calling names. What is this the third grade?
The answer is really quite simple. Some of us are old enough to remember the bad old days of Kennedy, Johnson, Carter and Clinton. We've seen first hand the corruption and the lack of direction or common sense of the DNC. The thought of four or more years of Gore or Kerry or worse, Rodham-Clinton or another Kennedy is cause enough for anyone in their right mind to vote Republican. You can spritz as much perfume as you want on a pile of crap, it won't change the fact that it's still crap. When the DNC finally figures out a direction and a plan inwhich to run, I will look seriously at what they offer. But when all they can do is talk trash about the other guy and offer nothing of substance themselves... Why bother? At least I know that with the GOP, the money I've earned is less likely going to support some welfare slug, too damned lazy to get off his dead hind end and go out and get a job like the rest of us. I know the GOP isn't going to re-ignite inflation by raising minimum wage. Any raise you force upon me, I will only pass along to you, the consumers by raising the costs of my products and services -- thus negating any gain you'd hoped to make. If you REALLY want a raise in pay, further your education. The higher your degree, the more money you can command. Social programs such as welfare, are nothing more than reconstituted slavery. It strips the body of dignity, a will to succeed and does little more than undermind the very nature of capitalism and competition. I think Gen. Patton said it best when he addressed the men of the U.S. 3d Army before stepping off into France in 1944. He said, "America HATES losers. Why the very thought of losing is hateful to Americans. I wouldn't give a hoot in Hell for a man who lost and laughed." The DNC and those who support it are typically the losers the General was referring. And what's so tragic about it is that they are all too blind to see it for themselves, even after all of these years. They'll not listen to reason and blatantly choose to ignore facts. They are in a word, unteachable. It is truly a shame that so many strong men and women have to fight to defend those who will not fight for themselves.

When Democrats can explain how they can continue to vote Democrat with buffoons like Teddy Kennedy carrying their banner then I will explain how it is that I can justify voting for any Republicans. I am independent, I vote for the person based on platform, not the party.

first of all who the f is monkey man...and why a monkey..but lets assume your talking about bush...ok....ive lived alot longer than you and remember the us cole and the several attempts on wtc before 911. ive also lived through the 20 percent carter inflation and the chicago mobs purchase of the 1960 election. im sorry but the "other party" sets a dismal choice. i prefer lassiez fare govt and getting back more of what i legitimately earn so i can direct the fate of my own money instead of nancy pelosi doing it for me. when you get enough life experience to ask that question seriously ill treat it in like kind.
