I think the sex in Torchwood is often gratuitous & is there just to justify the fact that it’s supposed to be more ‘adult’ than Dr. Who.
Sci-Fi doesn’t need an agenda & certainly not this kind of gay propaganda either…it spoils the programme for me.

I found that overall that even given a 'poetic licence' the characters were somewhat unbelievable & unlikeable. As some one indicates, they are far more concerned with scoring politacally correct 'brownie' points, and how many 'humpings, of what ever orientation they/you are that can be crammed into one episode, that the scripts appear to have become, along with the chatacters & plots somewhat shallow. As for the last episodes, the facts as regards the general populace in the '1940's'etc. towards homosexuals was not Very Tolerent to say the least, from written diaries & records kept from that time. Please can the script writers & people remember this, that at various times in the past attitudes were very different.
I sincerly hope that the script writers improve, with less 'sex & social ideas' and concentrate more on the plots. If Toshiko & Gwen want to have a roll round in the hay, so what, don't show it 'imply' it, as with any other sex-scene.

I love the programme too.
But I couldn't help think that last nights episodes were a bit of a 'gay-fest'.
I thought the love story with jack and original jack was done quite sweetly...... then it went a bit far with the kiss that went on a wee bit too long between Jack & the other guy (right at the end of the programme).

Oh my, too gay, that will never do. The thought of people of the same sex being attracted to each other and having the audacity to act as this type of behaviour is normal for a few fleeting seconds in a TV schedule packed with heterosexuals jumping each others bones in unexpurgated graphic detail!!
I need a cold shower...

I though Jack and the real Jack Harkness dancing was very romantic and beautifully shot.
Why did Ianto have to kiss Jack though? Just on principal - I fancy Ianto!

.....actually am concerned that Geraint has lost the plot, and is a bit too busy getting his ideological points in to remember how to create characters that truly engage the audience......
but will keep watching...as this too can change.....am not going to let a very lovely and touching moment, put me off watching the next series...though I was seriously hoping that Tosh , Burn and caretaker characters would get annihilated, as I just DON'T CARE about them ........like I said...someone needs to get back to their craft a bit....

I was unlucky enough to get the "men dancing scene" when I switched through the channels tonight. They say that 10% of the population's gay, but tonight it seemed that 60% of the TV was!

I thought that the dancing scene was tastefully done and quite poignant.
Get over your personal discomfort and open your mind a little!
I hadn't realised that all the men who fought in WW2 were heterosexual!!!!
