My 2 year old had to receive 2 stiches near his eye about 3 months ago. It seemed to be healing beautifully until today when I noticed 3 white bumps forming on his incision. Is this something to be concerned about?

no its just the new skin forming on the scar and it will start to gain the skin color in about two to three weeks but mostly everythings fine

I just had surgery about 4 weeks ago on my shoulder pretty big insisions and ive gotten the same bumps. My mom said not to worry about it and it should go away soon. If your really concerned then go to a doctor to get it checked. I might get it checked just in case of infection. Hope your son get better! :)

I think it's called keloid......a fibrous scar tissue. Have it checked to make sure.
Certain people heal this way, including my husband.
