i mean he committed some horrific crimes what with the killing of the 148 men and boys and then the genocide on the Kurds.

the reason i say serial killer is because all of it was methodical in the way it was done. he knew exactly what he was doing. and he does have a time line and it started in the 70's

Strictly speaking, a serial killer has killed a number of victims over a certain period of time, not in a single event.

The real-world events aside and just speaking from an objective POV, I think "mass murder" would be a closer label for something like that than serial murders.

What makes him any different to George Bush. Sure, Saddam invaded Kuwait but at the same time Bush invaded Iraq. The tens of thousands of deaths Bush has caused is negligible to Saddam's damage to Kuwait. He has torn apart the lives of all twenty plus millioni Iraqis and their dream of living a peaceful life. And where are the weapons of mass destruction Bush promised to find, there were none.
