Yes, I did! Pre-natals are specially formulated multivitamins that make up for any nutritional deficiencies in the mother's diet during pregnancy. While the supplements contain numerous vitamins and minerals, their folic acid, iron, and calcium content are especially important.
It is recommended to take 400 micrograms - 800 micrograms of folic acid daily to prevent defects. You need extra about 1,200 mcg of calcium daily, but your body can only absorb 500 mcg at a time, so you'll have to take it at different times (and preferably not with soda - which can affect the absorbency).
Vitamin B6 helps oxygen get to the cells, and is vital in proper functioning of the immune and nervous systems. Be sure to follow guidelines though - too much B6 can cause nerve damage. And I've never heard that it can ease nausea. Unfortunately, this can be one of the trials of pregnancy. However, I've been preg three times and never had morning sickness - you might be one of the lucky ones too.
Some prenatal vitamins can cause nausea in an already nauseous woman. If your vitamins make you sick, talk to your doctor. They may be able to prescribe a different kind of prenatal vitamins (for example, chewable vitamins as opposed to those you swallow whole may be better tolerated by some women).
Good luck!

You can switch your multi vitamin for a pre-natal vitamin.
It's good that you're already getting the folic acid, since they remember taking folic acid at least 3 months before, and 3 months after conceiving...
Congrats to you for thinking ahead! Good luck with TTC!!!
Edit
I stopped the pill in July, and conceived that same month, (ie. I never got my period in August) it doesn't take everyone time to conceive after they stop the pill, if you feel more comfortable taking it until march that's what you should do.... There is a possibility that it could take a few tries, but that's all up to you :)

If you want to get pregnant around april then you need to stop taking your pills now. It can take months even a year for the body to start regulating ovulation again after taking pills. I stopped birth control over a year ago and we have been "ttc" for 11 months with no luck. yes get lots of folic acid and a multi vitamin. Also start getting extra calcium, that will help the baby grow. but seriously honey stop taking that birth control now, that way you will be able to get used to your regular cycles again. Good luck. i hope you dont have the problems we have had. =) if you have any questions just ask.

A folic Acid supplement is important You could also start taking prenatal vitamins if they are better than your multi vitamin.

All you need to take is pre-natal vitamins, and lay off of the rest so you don't put too much into your body. The pre-natals will have extra folic acid, calcium, and iron that your body will need, and it will also have the other daily vitamins your body needs.

Enjoying the feeling of motherhood and raising a family would surely be a couple’s dream. Some get it naturally, while for some others things don’t seem to work as they desire. These reasons which stop a women from conceiving can be due to either physical reasons or truly physiological.
