This is what things look like anywhere in the world where there is a war, calling it "nowhere ville" and saying that locals are "letting off steam" allows one to come to all sorts of conclusions about things but very little of an understanding.

Americans were killing Americans during the Civil War, is American not a civilized country?

Wars happen for a variety of reasons, not just because a people may or may not lack civility, sometimes they can be invaded by an external element that ruins all that civility between people by creating states of desperation, division, and thus internal conflict.

And sometimes there are good reasons to go to war, just as most Americans thought that it was a good reason to go to war for things like weapons of mass destruction, and links with Al-Qaeda, Threats to national security.

That's why the Government made those claims, cause without those the American people would have never voted for the war.

Besides even if a people were not civilized that doesn't make it okay to destroy them does it?

But it sure is easier to destroy a country like Iraq, if you believe that it's filled Barbaric, Violent, Thugs isn't it?

There are many middle eastern countries and obviously most of them don't have people firing guns in the street. I suggest you go to some middle eastern countries and you'll be able to see that for yourself.

Iraq has a lot of saddam, baathist brainwashed sunnis who hate shias and want to kill them and the shias in turn retaliate and it's all haywire. The kurds absolutely despise the christians in iraq and have actually murdered them throughout the times. Then basically, most of the other iraqis dislike kurds and they return this feeling.

Define Civilized. Iraq has one of the oldest and most ancient civilization in the world. They're already civilized even before Native Americans. And you also forgot Tunisia since you included all Northern African countries. I love Arab culture so this will be a hard pick for me. I choose....... Morocco since it's a very fashionable country.
