yes. what is wrong with me telling an illegal immigrant he does not belong in my country, telling a muslim that I am hesitent of his religion and his intentions, telling people what I believe without retribution. It is the downfall of this country

Very likely could!! P.C. is essentially the squelching of free speech, which is essential to philosophical - and concomitantly, societal - evolution. Given the physical manifestation of P.C. in the recent assaults by students (liberals) on "controversial" (conservative) speakers, you may want to re-phrase your question in the present tense rather than the future.

Forcing mean people to have a little more respect for minorities will be the downfall.....that is juicy.... on second thought i have seen a little goofiness in PC

Political correctness doesnt send jobs overseas, raid pension funds, or make deals with people who want to carve more and more of the economic pie for themselves and their golf buddies.

I think people are sick of it. I am. It stifles honest opinions and dialogue. I don't think the next generation of adults will carry on with it. Look at how teens talk now. They have let loose in their speech in so many ways, why not PC talk too? I think of PC as just another "fad" movement that is dying out.
