If 4 LSU starters missed curfew and as a result have been suspended for one quarter tonight. . . maybe Notre Dame actually has a chance!! Now all they need is for Lou Holtz to kidnap the referee and take his place!! ALso they need 13 other LSU starters to all trip over each other coming out of the tunnel and get hurt so they can't play!! If all of this happens. . . maybe. . Notre Dame has a chance. . .. nah. . .who are we kidding. . .Notre Dame sucks and would still lose by 20 points!!!

I agree with Bruce. Notre Dame had no business being in that game. It would have been great to see LSU against USC, since Michigan obviously shouldn't have been in the Rose Bowl. The Big 10 sucks.

I know that the game is over, so obviously Notre Dame can't win. I just had a thought though, I don't feel that Notre Dame even belonged in that game.

They have now lost 9 straight bowl games dating back to the early 90's! I was watching ESPN this morning and something like 85 out of the 120 or so teams in Division I College Football have won a bowl game in that time, pretty sad!

Brady Quinn is a great athlete and should be a great NFL player, but the Irish are way too overrated due to Charlie Weiss. They did not beat any great teams this year and did not even belong in any of the BCS games. Sorry to tell ya.

Notre Dame can win (with or without the starters) if they can figure out how to handle LSU's speed.

I am a Notre Dame grad, and I have great respect for Charlie Weiss. But as I told someone at dinner tonight - I will root for ND, but I won't bet on them.

You know what I hate people like you dissing on teams. I think LSU will win but Notre Dame lost 2 times like LSU to great ball clubs. You haveto give them SOME respect they got to a BCS game for 2 straight years

Alhough this answer is after the fact, Notre Dame once again proved how much it "deserved" to be in a top-tier bowl with their good old-fashioned ************ they took again....ah well, as long as that keeps happening, the more money I make every year!

(Ya know? It would have been REALLY fun to see Boise State put one on the (as usual) overrated Golden Domers....)

Notre Dame is a tough team. They could win.

But, why are you asking a question and then answering it.

You know alot of people talk to themselves. But that's normal. One is only crazy if they answer themselves. And here you did both. You must live in your own world.

I thought you were going somewhere different with this, but just to correct you it was two starters and two reserves. But yeah, you pretty much summed it up. Although I think if Lou Holtz was the referee then they'd definitely be able to win!

I'm an ND fan, but I dont think they have a chance against LSU. Their defense is worse than my high school team's defense, especially their secondary. Even their offense can be shaky at times and theyll probably get demolished. It will still be a fun game to watch tho.

Notre Dame should win because they're owned by NBC, so it means the refs are owned by NBC too.
