It would definitely have to be the first one. If you met your favorite player and he treated you like crap, it would probably hurt your feeling a lot and especially if it was a little child. My favorite team hardly ever wins as of lately but i am not crushed or anything like that. SF 49ers.

Having my favorite team lose cuz it hurts me more to see them lose. I could care less if my favorite player hates me.

A team is composed by many peolpe, it isn't your problem if one of the players is a jerk. You would still support that team if that player left, wouldn't you?

Definitely the first one because it's someone you look up to, and especially for little kids, you'd be crushed. Your team will always win and lose.
