you hav 8 oz of peanuts, 2 oz aomonds, 1 oz of cashews and 3 oz or raisins for a total of 14 oz so 2 oz are chocolate or 2/16 which reduces to 1/8.

bag of nuts= 16oz
peanuts= 0.5 * 16oz.
=8 oz.
almonds+peanuts+cashews+raisins=8+1+2+3=14oz
thus, chocolate chips = 16-14oz=2oz
frac = 2/16= 1/8
