I think it is just as long as the audience is right. This means like, in front of your friends, at a club. Singing in a place where there is like business going on probably isn't ok.

it's free country...so it's definitely okay to sing in public places. as long as you know when it's the time to keep quiet (like if everyone is in a serious mood or something horrible's just happened). i honestly sing in public whenever..or i mouth the words to the songs i listen to on my ipod. ahha.

But I sing at work all the time... keeps people off balance...

YES lol i do it all the time. and when people say something that relates to a song i start breaking out into song
e.g. my friend was like since kyle's been gone its been a lot better.
