yes you can and, i am not trying to be mean, you're landlord must think that you are a gullible sort, so he trying to pin the
blame on you. you're apt. is, of course, above the basement
unit and it is obvious that the same sewer line is shared between the two (or more) apts. since i have been in the industry for decades i have never seen a toilet waste line smaller than 3 and a half inches wide. so simple Kleenex or any boxed brand would never clog such a line, it would flood you out first if you put so much in it. the most common reason for a line to clog up is grease
and foreign objects.

In America: Yes, but you must take it out of the Kleenex box first. Make sure not to flush more too much so you don't plug to toilet.

Mexico (certain parts): No, the drainage systems get plugged.

No, because there are emollients in Kleenex that can cling to the pipes. Your plumber can tell you the only thing to go in the toilet is toilet paper... and not big wads of it. Nothing else... unless you constantly want to be calling a plumber.

It depends upon where it "gets trapped." I do not flush tissues. Only toilet paper.

I doubt if you are the cause of the back-up.A few would not hurt the plumbing.I use only septic-system approved paper to flush.Just try not to flush them too often......
