I am a big fan of TNA, I don't think they are close to the WWE yet but they are getting there. The problem I see with TNA is the lack of storylines, but they are doing better on that, and the fact that there is only one show each week and it only lasts one hour. I believe they would do better if they made Impact either a 2 or 3 hour broadcast as well as going out of Orlando more often. The reason is because when WCW switched to 3 hours is when they really started to dominate WWF (now WWE) in the ratings for a while, and while I don't think TNA can beat WWE in the ratings yet (I really think that TNA has no intention of going the WCW way and trying to run the WWE out of business. They just want to be the rival wrestling program, which they are.) I do believe they can compete very well with the WWE in the future and might beat them in ratings down the line because they have the talent there. What do you think?

The truth is that no wrestling shows have ever done very well when they are one hour long. Raw wasn't very good when it started out as only one hour, ECW is in the toilet and about to be flushed, and TNA can't make many good storylines with such limited times, usually they can only make one or two.

personally i am a big fan of TNA. while i will always be a fan of the wwe i love watching TNA. i think that their 6 sided ring adds many more possibilities to the matches. plus there are to many stars in the wwe and they are starting to go to TNA. eventually TNA will have to switch to a longer show because they will have so many wrestlers and i think it would be a lot better if it was longer. maybe if it was just 1:30 i still think that that would make it better.

Great points Thomas. I hope Spike can get a vision for adding a second hour to Spike (or even a third). The strategy of just giving WWE some good old fashioned competition vs trying to stomp the WWE is an interesting point of view and could very well be just what they want. That would be good mostly for wrestling fans since each brand would have to step up the quality to keep up with the other. TNA is definitely on the move and if they keep improving they will have Vince sweatin in his shorts in no time.

You men could be kidding me .The knockouts adventure and particularly the Morgan/Hernandez adventure replaced into relatively short. The reserving of the cage adventure replaced into pathetic. beneficial it replaced into executed as an excuse to debut Hardy yet that doesn't excuse it. i'm so ill of those TNA marks attacking the WWE yet they're so shortsighted that the omit the certainty the TNA does precisely the comparable element that they criticize WWE for! yet another uncomplicated criticism is WWE pushes the comparable men. nicely AJ types is a multi time champion. Him in the identify image isn't something new. neither is it for perspective, Joe or Sting. ok they get factors for giving Daniels some pictures. Now if I see Tomko and Wolfe getting pictures quickly then perhaps they have a valid factor, in any different case TNA is doing the comparable damn element.

It would improve the ratings but what would also make it better is increasing the live events to 8-10 per month unlike the 1-2 per month they currently have.
If they get a main eventer to sign with them that is not fired from WWE, it would increase ratings.
With that said, one of TNA's writers is one, the cancer, Vince Russo. Impact, live events, and better stars increasing would be a wash if Russo gets more creative power.

Hell yeah, it would be way better if it was 2 hours long. It's a great opportunity to showcase some of the more younger wrestlers and give them some time in the spotlight. More hours would be a great way to better develop rivalries. Since Impact is only 1 hour long, most rivalries don't last very long because there's not enough time to showcase it on TV.

I think TNA would be taken a lot more seriously as a promotion if they had more time to showcase their talent... I don't know if they should have two hours yet, though... maybe they should start with one and a half, to ease their way into it...

I think two ours would be good because then you can actually develope storylines, and not just have 6 different storylines jammed into an hour. Three hours wouldnt be good because it's too long. An occasional 3 hour show would be cool though

They'll prolly get their 2nd hour sometime this year. They'll keep doing better as long as they keep doing what they are doing, just more of it. If they end up just filling time like WWE does with meaningless promos (my god, 8 promos for ECW last night), instant recaps of match moves, recapping stories from previous shows... and not keeping the wrestling pace up when they have more time (WWE uses too many rest holds).
