it doesnt want to play. My head phones are fine, but when i plug it in, the song please but I cant hear anything, please help.

toggle the hold button back and forth a few times. hold the down menu and enter (center) button at the same time for a few seconds.

if that dosn't wrk, u should try ur iPod booklet

hold down the menu and select button for 6 to 10 seconds. It refreshes the iPod. If that doesn't work, and you got your iPod less than a year ago, you can send it back to have it fixed. My iPod was broken and I sent it back and now it works great.

Your hard drive probably crashed. Take it to a computer repair shop that does Macs, iPods, etc, and have it serviced. I took my 40g unit in and they said it needed a new hard drive & battery to the tune of about $220. It's now a paperweight.

eather the volume aint up or u got bad hearing if it isnt that....dont recharge dont do nothing leave it on when batterys shutdown recharge until it gets full and it starts working it happen before when my nano froze and it works

Re update your ipod but this will delete all your songs!!

turn the volume up.

if that dont work, restore the firmware...download it built in the latest version of iTunes
