What happened to Junctions 1, 2 and 3 of the M62 in Liverpool?

What happened to Junctions 1, 2 and 3 of the M62 in Liverpool?

The motorway starts at Junction 4 at the Rocket flyover and there are no other motorways connecting here. What happened to the original three junctions? Were they demolished?

normally the motorway is estimated to be extended further into the city before being built. (council planning application delays) it also happens in the middle of roads before and after, like making 4a of the m3. this happens when industrials estates and new towns are built and even bypasses
