My understanding of the truth is that it stands on firm ground. The truth sometimes gets hidden by injustice and calculated manipulations by untruthful statements uttered by persons who harbor ill will.
the truth is not always able to set one free as the old saying goes...but, rather the truth lets a soul who is struggling find enough peace to sleep through the night.
the truth can be seen in the faces of children & the elderly who hbuild no facades to hide the truth from from view and understanding.. the truth always shines brightest.....

Truth is absolute, and it applies to everyone, everywhere at any time. Example: I'm feel warm. It is true to everyone, everywhere, that I, Benjovi, felt warmth on January 3, 2007, at 6:15 PM CST. To those who say truth is relative, prove me wrong, tell me I didn't feel warm.
Or how about when the fools discovered that the earth wasn't flat? (And note how I used the word "fools" there. That's because since the creation of Man, it was common knowledge among the wise that the earth was round) The Earth wasn't flat before, then POP, it's round now. Truth isn't relative, and it doesn't matter what your perception of it is. The truth is always there, but the only problem is that some people have a false precept.
Some say there is no such thing as truth. Consequently, they believe what they said to be true. You expect me to believe that? Saying, "There's no such thing as truth," is a self-defeating statement. If I said, "I can't read or write." You would think this is not to true because what I wrote proved itself wrong, because I had to have read and must be able to write in order to make that statement and ans were this question. Truth is absolute, and it applies to everyone, everywhere, all the time--end of argument.
