Troubled Joe is nearly right - Brian is from Belgium originally and Stefan is Swedish, however they haven't had Robert, their Swiss drummer for a good while now - their current drummer, Steven, is from Manchester, England. Tallulah - they certainly didn't look dead when i saw them play in Nottingham last month... Special K is indeed a reference to Ketamine, a horse tranquilizer.

special k is a street name for ketamine, a drug used by vets, its a horse tranquiliser.
Horses have significantly more robust metabolisms compared to us, so when used on us, it gives lsd type effects, with a hint of cocaine. in other words, slightly mind bending, with amphetemine qualities.
the security around vets, and vetenary products, is generally slacker than doctors, who have hard drugs, so it gets robbed, or is more easily bought, abroad, so a popular street drug...though dangerous, after all, its a fkin horse tranquiliser!
