Worldwise1...what? Liberals want whats best for the citizens of this country? Ha! Ha! Ha! Ouch, my stomach is starting to cramp from the laughter. They want this touchy-feely kiss *** Utopia all the while laughing their sorry asses to the bank. They speak for the special interest whiners. Appeasing the Islamo-fascists is not going to help this country or its freedoms. Appeasement to them equates to wearing a burqa and praising Alla.
Fiscal responsibility? Sure, remove the big$ from the military budget, weaken our defenses and spend it on more social programs that don't work. Libs are all about spending...if you dig on swine, you should be happy with the new house and senate. This country, judging by the moral relativity as seen in any media outlet you choose, is definitely on the secular track. Christiano-fascists? What...oh, are Christians boarding planes in Iran, Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan to crash and burn as many innocents as possible all in the name of Christ? Hmmm...did we not find the real perpetrators of 9/11? I guess the Michael Moores of this country will always have plenty of sheep to cry to.

Hmmm. Alright. Let's try an answer this rationally and not get sucked into the neo-right's tendency to dismiss dissension as "liberal" or somehow un-American.
What are "liberals" fighting for...
1. An end to out of control spending by "fiscally responsible" neo-conservatives.
2. A return of the USA to a leadership role in the world, instead of our current reputation as a borderline rogue state.
3. A return to the secular nation idea, and not rule by "christiano-fascists."
4. An end to illegal prison camps.
5. A coherent logical strategy for Iraq, not just "hoping" it will get better.
6. To actually hunt the perpetrator of 9/11, not red herrings like Saddam.
7. To actually implement the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission...which Bush never did.
Really I could go on and on, but there would be no point. No one's mind is going to be changed. Based on the few responses here, neo-conservatives and their blind followers learned nothing from the last election.
I can't even respond to koalatcom...due to your staggering lack of historical knowledge.

absolutely they know what they are fighting for..the return to tax and spend that brough twenty percent inflation in the carter era....it didnt work then and it doesnt work now. they certainly arent fighting to end iraq..all the moves theyve made are for liberal welfare type programs like the minimum wage and the forced sick leave...god help us all.
