1. What are 3 minerials that make up sediments?

1. Igneous rocks that are dense and dark-colored. they form from magma that is rich with iron/magnesium and poor in silica?

I'll get the seds then:

1. Silica, CaCO3 (shell fragments and matrix), Feldspar - some of the common ones.
2. Ways sedimentary rocks can form? Well, they're pretty much all erosion/deposition. Not sure what question criteria are... Aerial = wind-blown (i.e. Loess). Marine = current deposited (i.e. Greywacke - meta-sandstone). Gravity flow = conglomerate.
3. Classifications of sedimentary rocks? Can be classified by dominant mineral (e.g. quartz - quartz sand or quartzite, grain size (e.g. silt sized - siltstone, mudstone, argillite), or environment of deposition (e.g. terrestrial, marine, lacustrine - lacustrine clay)...
