I think that a person has to have more of a passion to write than simply talent.

Anyone can write in as much as anybody can "play" a violin. But it takes something special to give meaning and passion and purpose to words. Just as it takes a God-given talent to play any instrument in a way that touches the hearts and souls of those who listen. There are many, many gifts given by God. The trick is to discover and develop those we have received!
Keep writing. Let the talent grow in you.

I think its just a talent because some people have a really hard time writing lyrics or poetry and some can do it without trying.
