I don't think that is such a great idea. The Titanic is designated
a grave site. I think pulling that ship from the water if ever
possible should not be done. I don't believe it can be done, the
metal on that ship is extremely brittle and with time so much has
happened to the Titanic since the night it went down. Two ways
this can be seen which are, the ship remained well perished all
those years and the flip side is, it can fall apart with the slightest touch or disruption to it. Also, if this ship was pulled from it's
watery grave, and the best technology today was used to do that, more damage would be done than anything else. The water would strike the ship, possibility the cable would break, and the ship would fall back down and break up even worst than it is already. Remember this ship isn't together, one piece is widely separated from the other and there would be no way that the bow of the Titanic could be raised. There have been two attempts to raise a piece from that ship and just look at what it took to even do that. The first time was unsuccessful and than in August of 1998, a miracle happened and a piece of the ship was raised. I hope whoever visits that site, will respect it. Long Live Titanic and it's memories. My questions would be, Who would
fund it, a massive project like that and who would ever consider
raising that ship? It would be too much of a haunting reminder
of an unfortunate tragedy. No one would ever want to see that
take place.

No, it is too rusty and too fragile to lift (and it is in several pieces already). It would come apart as you lifted it.
