I have never watched more than 5 minutes of a WNBA game in my life. Women deserve the right to play and have their own league but it's just so boring. They can't score and when someone dunks it's headline news, basically junior high basketball.

To answer the first question: No, in my opinion; basketball is my favorite sport and even if it's basketball for women, I still wouldn't say it's the worst idea for a sport.

To answer the second question: I refuse to watch it except during the NBA offseason, when I go through basketball withdrawal and the weather's too bad to play basketball outside myself.

WNBA is about as popular as the Major League Soccer in the USA. Most people in the USA want to watch real sports like Football,NBA, NASCAR and Baseball. WNBA is a politicaly correct organization for lesbiens and bra burning liberal woman so they can feel equal in sports.

I don't care for any Pro-basketball give me College hoops any day. W.N.B.A. has a team here in Connecticut but I don't go, just can't get the enthusiasm. Would not even go if I had free tickets.

UCONN Huskies are the team around here
Now if you want to talk Baseball or NASCAR I'm there....

No, it's not. The fact that you know about the WNBA is proof that it is, at the very least, popular enough for people to hear about it. (Even those who aren't interested.)

Have you ever heard of the professional leagues for women's football, or baseball? They exist, you know - so women's basketball is remarkably popular (and therefore, a good idea) compared to other women's sports.

Also, what makes it any worse than men's basketball?

You could probably argue for what is the worst, WNBA, Women's Soccer, pro paintball, pro darts, etc. But I wish they would bring back Roller Derby. Go LA T-Birds!!!

No, women pro basketball exists in many other countries and is profitable. Selling it here to a male market is not working, but soccer hasn't caught on - shall we abandon it too.

The wnba is a good thing. Women should be able to play pro ball and not have to go overseas to do it.

I don't watch.

I do hope my local team wins.

I can't imagine it makes the team owners much money.

Didja hear the Charlotte Sting, one of the original teams, went bankrupt and folded today? Not looking good.
