which is better ipod or zune?

i bought an ipod 30gig video and havent had any problems yet but people tell me its just a matter of time they almost all reffer me to the zune mp3 player which i havent heard much of at all so im asking people which do they think is better

The Zune media player is your best bet. It can store 7,500 songs, 100 hours of video, and tons of pictures. Also it can share music and pic with other people. Also you can easy update it. The files dont need to be converted to put it on there. Also it has a 3 inch lcd screen. It may be a better bigger then an ipod, but a ipod is over rated and is a piece of crap. It cost currently $249

I bought a black Zune and I love it. I have both a black Zune and a black ipod. It's been hard, but I seem to being going more for the Zune, than the ipod. It just seems to work better for me. The experience is just pleasing. Doing things on the ipod however, can feel boring after staring at a boring white screen. Here are some reasons I found for liking it better:

4.has a nice UI design (way better than ipod)
5.has wi-fi feature so you can send songs & pics to other Zunes

9.can sync with the Xbox 360
10.you can view videos and some pics in landscape mode (on it’s side) so you just turn it on it’s left side (makes it great for watching videos)
11.you can get 14 day free-trial for Zune Marketplace
12.is something new and has latest technology

Just go to a Best Buy, Target, or some store to take a look at the Zune. It's better to just try it firsthand, than to depend what somebody else says.You're you, and you should go and make the decision yourself. Just try it.

In my opinion I would say that an ipod is much better than a zune. The zune is very large and it is not as portable. The ipod is very portable and you can take it almost anywhere. When the zune first came out I thought it would beat out the ipod. Then, after seeing it, I realized that the ipod is much better.

I saw zunes at gamestop and the sales associate told me it is just like an ipod but you can watch movies, use it for showing pictures, and you can even give songs to friends wirelessly. Say your friend doesnt have a song that you have but they want to listen to it so all you have to do is wirelessly transmitt it to her zune and she will have that song! It sounds like the zune is a pretty neat system but I think it was like 200 dollars, but i'm not sure it might be more or less.

I have a zune and i like how it has a much bigger screen with the same battery life and has an overall better interface than the ipod the picture quality is amazing , it is not too much bigger than an ipod and is for the same price

i assume Zune's better in keeping greater music and stuff and the life like value, yet iPod has cameras and greater apps and video games! so which you're able to do lots greater with an iPod for $70 greater...

Ipod nano definitely
It is small and easy to carry around
Can store 1000 songs and photos
Has games
Other ipods come in 30GB 60GB and also 80GB
2ND generation ipod nanos are 8GB
2ND generation ipods come in different color. I think green or blue is best.
The sound is really good
on the video you can download music videos and also the whole movie you want.
If you have any problems with your ipod and itunes then just re update your ipod.
But i wouldn't suggest using lime wire to put songs because it is illegal and also some songs have virus.

Go for it! Ipod is really nice. I have 1 and i love it.

honestly the ipod 30 gig is sooo thick and gross return it. the zune is only good if a lot of people have it so you can share your music. but if you just want and mp3 i suggest the samsung yp-k5 its kind of thick but not as thick as the ipod 30 gig and plus the samsung has speakers so you can share your music

Well since you already have the Ipod, stick with it. But If you didn't I would've told you to get the Creative Zen Vision M, but the Ipod Is tha 2nd best(my opinion).
