Okay, so i have a trojan virus on my laptop and i need to know how i can get rid of it. It really sucks cuz i got it by goin to an mp3 site and then the site lead me somewhere else (which was porn) and then something downloaded. i was like wtf?!?!? i scanned it on my laptop and it says that i have spyware and a trojan. i also can't put any background on my desktop and it only shows when i turn off or turn on the computer. and i can't even go to windows movie maker and my project is unfinished for school. it says there was an error then it shows that send error report thingy. i really need help.

go to download.com, download adaware, spybot, spydoctor (not that good), or spysweeper. *note* the spysweeper is a 15day free trial. 30 bucks for free version. you cna download 15 day free trial.
install and scan. Then Delete the viruses.

Go to www.microsoft.com
go to technical support there.
see or look it up on there site and type in their search engine the name of what type of trojan virus you gotten.
pull up the downloaded recommendations and follow the steps.
If this does not help. Go to your start button .
go to search
go to search computer files on c'
type in virsus software and see if you have one on your computer
than open that file up. double click it once it is installed. Open it up and let it run to see whether or not it will pick up on the virus. If it does it will automatically heal it. Good luck. Hope it helps! Happy New Year

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.
besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

Contact where u buy your computer from..They will give u info, I had the same problem and they help me and my computer was fix.
